Saville Row of Fame

March 2015

Archer Electrical are proud to undertake yet another prestigious project in the heart of London’s Savile Row. We have established an impressive portfolio of electrical fit-outs for Saville Rows Tailors, Textile and Designer Brands in our undertaking of works for Scabal, Huntsman and Dsquared2

  • DSquared2 flagship store is the biggest DSquared2 space in the world, 7,664sq feet, on the corner of Savile Row. This was the first store fitted with the new concept in Europe and it’s to be rolled out in New York, LA and Miami.
  • Scabal has reopened the doors of its London boutique located on the legendary Savile Row. Scabal has evolved into a producer of top quality fabrics to the most prestigious tailors and textile businesses around the world
  • Huntsman’s rebirth is the modernisation of its flagship store at 11 Savile Row. Leading tailoring house Huntsman brags Gregory Peck as its most devoted fan, placing some 160 orders. No. 11 made many of Peck’s on-screen clothes, from the costume he wore in The Million Pound Note to the tweed overcoat that is the real star of The Omen. Clark Gable also became a customer after having Huntsman make his costume for the big-game-hunter movie Mogambo. Huntsman was the inspiration for the action movie Kingsman ‘The Secret Service’ starring Colin Firth. Where this tailor shop at 11 Savile Row acted as a smoke screen to hide a secret society of spies, the Kingsmen. In celebration of Huntsman’s film cameo works got under way to close the gap between reality and fiction ensuring that anyone trying on a garment feels like a Kingsman themselves!
