Case Study // Lloyds Health Village

We completed the electrical installation for the first Health Village concept which was opened by celebrity TV doctor, Dr. Hilary Jones in Brent Cross, London in September. Shortly after the opening of Brent Crosss we were awarded the electrical contract for this second Health Village store in Thurrock, Essex. This new outlet continues the theme of bringing together several health & beauty services alongside opticians, online doctor and physiotherapists, all under one roof, for customer’s convenience.

Situated at the Lakeside Retail Park, Thurrock this store is much larger than the North London original and along with services from opticians Vision Express, and other specialists such as Shuropody and Connect Physical Health, it will also have an exclusive spa and private dental clinic.

The lighting design challenge was to create unified environment in a large open space. Microlight lighting was successfully employed in the design utilising a wide variety of Microlight luminaires including Arc Midi CMH-TC spotlights to black track, 2 module mini gimbals, Sky Maxi pendants, Ero-vertilux 9 cell T5 modulars and LED spotlights and downlights,
