This new Thorntons concept store is now open following a six-week closure to undergo a major refurbishment and will be the only one of its kind in the country, having a café area, serving handcrafted ice cream sundaes, hot chocolates, and desserts such as Salted Caramel Praline Torte and Triple Mousse Brownies.

Thornton’s Derby will also have a chocolatier – showing customers how it’s delicious treats are made with the chance to purchase the perfect personalised gift.
